Silent colour

When we moved from the big house when I was nine years of age, my sleep and dream patterns changed. I still had some of my old dreams and nightmares. But I started to have a new one. I would be stood in a crowed room the I did not know with lots of noise. when all of a sudden ( in a split second ) everyone disappeared and there was a deafening silence. The walls of the room all went white until everything was white. I am the only thing in the room, there are no doors or windows and I am glued to the spot. Then the walls started to change colour, slowly at first. I can feel the sands of an egg timer slowly passing. The egg timer is not in the room. The walls are now changed colours very fast. I try to scream or cry but I can not. I can only stand there as the silence closes in around me.

I would always wake up with a worried looking family member standing by the side of the bed. As I sleep in the top bunk bed.
